To start with I folded a sheet of A4 Dark Brown Card
(stash)

in half and then cut it to make a 14x18cm Rectangle Base Card.
Next I made my Layers using Light Brown Card as the backer Card
(stash) 
for the 13.5x17cm Rectangle of Easter Paper 5 - Light Brown Stripes
and 9x10cm Easter Paper 2 - Mid Brown/Mustard Egg
(Both from Love Paper Crafts)
and 5x11cm Lemon Daisy Swirls
(Redhotbed).
Also from the Light Brown Card I Die-Cut out a 9.5cm Circle
(Sizzix)
and hand-cut the 'Flag' shape for the Sentiment.

Next I printed the Image out
  on White DC Paper
and coloured it in

I then Die-Cut The Image out using
the 8.6cm Circle Die

(Sizzix).

For the Sentiment I used
'Easter Wishes' Clear Rubber Stamp
(Daisy + Dandelion - Some Bunny Loves You)
with Watermark Ink
(Versamark)
and Detail Gold Embossing Powder
(PSX)
and I activated it using my Heat Gun.
And then hand-cut it to size.

I then added a Gold Glitter Circle Peel Off around the Image,
and Gold Glitter Corners.
I also framed the Sentiment with the Gold Glitter Peel Off
(The Range).

And finally I added the Metallic Gold Candies
(stash).

To start with I folded a sheet of A4 Cream Card
(stash)

in half and then cut it to make a 14cm Square Base Card.
Next I cut a 13cm Square of Plain Lemon Weave Paper
(Easter Egg 4 - Ukok's Place).
And 2 Rectangles from Lemon Daisy Swirls Paper
(Redhotbed)
6x7cm and 6x8cm.
And I used a 5mm Corner Punch
(X-Cut)
to round off all the corners on all the Card and Papers.

Next I printed the Image out
  on White DC Paper
and coloured it in

I then Die-Cut The Image out using
a medium Rectangle Parenthesis 2

(X-Cut).

I the rubbed the edges of all the Papers
with Watermark Ink
(Versamark),
then covered it with Gold Embossing Powder
(Papermania)
and used my Heat Gun to activate it.

For the Flags I cut the shape out by hand,
And then heat embossed them 
with the Gold Embossing Powder.

For my Sentiment I used a 
'Happy Easter' Clear Rubber Stamp
(Daisy + Dandelion - Some Bunny Loves You)
for this I used the Watermark Ink and the 
Gold Embossing Powder again.

And finally I added 3mm AB Yellow Rhinestones 
to the top right and bottom left corners
and on the Sentiment.

New Challenge #130 at Glitter N Sparkle - Card 1

I so Confused,
All this time changing malarkey has me all baffled.
I hate this time of year as I never know if its
forward or backwards,
and you can guarantee that I will never
remember to change all the Clocks in the house.
Though thankfully my Mum and Dad
called in for a visit last night
so I now know I lose an hour of sleep lol.
They had been to collect their new addition to the family,
a gorgeous Dog (called Gizmo) who they are adopting,
he is a Golden Retriever/Gordon Setter Cross.

But back to the Crafting and I have a treat for you this week.
I have 3 gorgeous Images to share with you all.
I wanted a bit of a challenge to myself so
I chose a different Sketch for each one
and I also wanted to try different styles
(though not to sure how that worked out).

So Sorry It's Late,
And there was me being so good and thinking I had
got everything sorted  before I went away
visiting family for the weekend.
Then I came home for the Dentist (URGGG)
and realised that nothing had posted.

Anyway for this weeks Project I decided
to fulfil my partners 12 year old Nephew's request
that he asked me if I could make.
He wanted a Storage/Money Box,
('But it has to be a boy one Auntie Sam')
so he can save all his important stuff in.

To make this I used the Treasured Template

(My Time Made Easy - Pretty Packaging)
Hand cutting it all out using Dark Brown Card for the Base
and Dark Gold Pearlised Card for the accessories
(both Card from my stash).
The Paper I used was Natural Dark Wood - Maruti Texture
(which I found on the Internet)
an I cut out 'single boards' to make the Bands 
that go down the side of the Panels,
and across the Lid Top.

Next I printed the Image out
  on White DC Paper
and coloured it in

And I used a Metallic Gold Gel Pen for his Earring,

and the Gold Badges on his Jacket and Hat.

Next I stamped the Pirate Rubber Stamp Set

(Fun Factory),

so I have 2 Chests, 2 Flags and 1 Ship.

I used Tuxedo Black Ink

(Memento)

And coloured them in with my Promarkers.

I then cut my Image out in a large S shape
and for the Stamps just wiggly edges,
except the Flags which I fussy cut out.
Then I got all technical and dabbed
a cold Teabag over all of the paper.

I then distressed all the edges with some scissors,
then using Vintage Photo Distressed Ink
(Tim Holtz)
I flicked it against all the Edges to make it look Old.
Then I rolled the top and bottom edges 
of the Image to make it look like a scroll.

For the Flags I stuck them to Silver Pins,
and curled the paper.

And finally I added an Antique Gold Key
(stash)
to the corner of the Image for the 'Lock'.

All Costume Jewelry is my own, 
for the 'Treasure'.
